Once again, Guayaquil – Ecuador will be the meeting point for global aquaculture. From October 20 to 23, its Convention Center will welcome delegations from more than 20 countries to experience AQUAEXPO INTERNATIONAL 2025, the high- impact global technical and commercial event.

This year, the International Technical Congress will incorporate technological innovations into its presentations, with state-of-the-art LED screens that will show the topics exposed by more than 60 national and international speakers. They will talk about efficient production, shrimp health and nutrition management, water and soil quality, production systems, market trends, and digital innovation applied to the industry.

In parallel, and for the second consecutive year, Race To The Top will be held, a space that addresses the challenges of sustainability on a global scale, with the participation of business leaders, international organizations, and experts on the matter.

The AQUAEXPO International 2025 Trade Fair is also growing in this edition: it will be expanded to two floors of the exhibition center, with a total of 8,000 m². More than 200 exhibiting companies will present the most innovative products, services, and technological solutions for the aquaculture sector.

With an estimated attendance of more than 10,000 visitors per day,
AQUAEXPO INTERNATIONAL 2025 is shaping up to be the key event for knowledge exchange, innovation, and business in the global aquaculture industry. The event has been organized by the CNA for more than two decades.

More about the CNA

The National Chamber of Aquaculture (CNA) is an entity that brings together, represents, and coordinates Ecuador’s aquaculture industry, with an emphasis on the shrimp sector. Since its creation in 1993, it has promoted the competitiveness and sustainability of the sector through actions in foreign trade, safety, technological innovation, environmental sustainability, and training. Its work includes the international promotion of Ecuadorian shrimp, the creation of spaces for public- private dialogue, and the defense of productive interests, consolidating itself as a benchmark in the global projection of one of the country’s main non-oil export items.

One of its pillars of action is to promote knowledge transfer in the industry. That is why events such as AQUAEXPO are important for integrating the global industry and achieving this goal.
